Customizable Procedural Flowerbeds and Roundabouts Tool

For this project, I needed to enhance the visual appeal of a city by blending natural elements, flowers and foliage, into its predominantly concrete environments. To achieve this, I developed a flexible and expandable tool using Unreal Engine 5 PCG (Procedural Content Generation) system. The tool uses splines to procedurally place flowers, grass, and concrete paths, allowing for natural, flowing layouts that adapt to any region or design need.

The system supports region-based foliage variation and includes controls for areas with no grass or flowers, ensuring smooth transitions and visually appealing blends. The PCG graph was intricately built to offer full customization, enabling designers to define any shape, flower type, or layout, while remaining entirely procedural and dynamic for large-scale, real-time use.
