This little creature came to life during a random chat between a few friends and me—we were all geeking out over our love for fantasy and dragon stories, and that sparked the idea. This baby dragon from the Firelands actually has a sibling from the sea, which I’ve shared in another post.

My friend created the concept art, and I brought it to life in 3D. I sculpted the fine details in ZBrush, did the retopology by hand in Maya, and hand painted and textured it using Substance Painter and Photoshop. Final render was done in Marmoset Toolbag.
